What we do

We do not run or manage projects ourselves but assist with finding funding for those projects that meet our criteria. Since we are accountable for any money raised we take a hands on role to ensure the correct use of money that is donated through the initiative.

Any project that we take on board is vetted to ensure that

· it covers the interlinked areas of health, education and financial independence

· it is viable

· it is for the benefit of an identifiable community

· the community is involved

· there is an identifiable project leader

Our current work is in Ruhanga a village in South West Uganda and our aims here are to get clean water into the village as well as providing a community resource centre.

Our funding is generated through the collective effort of, business associates, fundraising events as well as donations from well wishers. All boards members are volunteers and do not draw a salary and therefore all the money raised goes directly into the projects. In addition we mobilize professionals and others with skills that could benefit communities in the developing world and encourage them to share these skills within the communities in which we work.
